    In most service companies where Odoo ERPOnline has been integrated, service sheets, or timesheets, have revolutionized management practices. These service sheets are produced by each employee as they work on the different cases or projects that are running. Each of these is represented by an analytic account in the system.

    Throughout the day, when employees work on one project or another, they add a line to the timesheets with details of the time used on each project. At the end of the day, each employee must mark all the time worked on client or internal projects to make up the full number of hours worked in the day. If an account is not in the system, then the time is added to the hours that have not been assigned for the day.

    You can show it to your co-manager or a supervisor and ask for comments and reviews before finalising the survey.


    Set Up Evaluations Plans 


    The evaluation is done according to a plan in which various surveys can be created. Each survey can be answered by a particular department/level in the employees' hierarchy. The final review and evaluation is done by the manager.

    An evaluation plan can be assigned to each employee. These plans define the frequency and the way you manage your periodic personal evaluations. You will be able to define steps and attach interview forms to each step.

    You can manage leaves taken by employees using the hr_holidays module. Go to the menu Settings > Configuration > Human Resources.Then in Additional Features tick the Manage holidays, leaves and allocation requests.And then click on the Apply button.

    The new hr_payroll module includes a generic payroll engine that handles everything required to compute hr salary slips, the taxes to pay, etc. You can manage your company's payroll by using this module. You have to select option Manage payroll from following menu Settings > Configuration > Human Resources and you can install your country payroll from that option Install your country's payroll.

    The regular assessment of human resources can benefit your people as well your organization. For efficient periodical evaluation of employees' performance, you need to install the hr_evaluation module. Go to the menu Settings > Configuration > Human Resources. And then tick the Organize employees periodic evaluation.

  • Jobs on Contracts

    This module allows you to define what is the default function of a specific user on a given account.

    This is mostly used when a user encodes his timesheet: the values are retrieved and the fields are auto-filled. But the possibility to change these values is still available.

    Obviously if no data has been recorded for the current account, the default value is given as usual by the employee data so that this module is perfectly compatible with older configurations.

  • Keeping Track of Expenses

    Employee expenses are charges incurred on behalf of the company. The company then reimburses these expenses to the employee. The receipts encountered most frequently are:

    • car travel, reimbursed per unit of distance (mile or kilometer),
    • subsistence expenses, reimbursed based on the bill,
    • other purchases, such as stationery and books, destined for the company but carried out by the employee.
  • Leave Management

    Manage leaves and allocation requests

    This application controls the holiday schedule of your company. It allows employees to request holidays. Then, managers can review requests for holidays and approve or reject them. This way you can control the overall holiday planning for the company or department.

    You can configure several kinds of leaves (sickness, holidays, paid days,...) and allocate leaves to an employee or department quickly using allocation requests. An employee can also make a request for more days off by making a new Allocation. It will increase the total of available days for that leave type (if the request is accepted).

    You can keep track of leaves in different ways by following reports:

    • Leaves Summary
    • Leaves by Department
    • Leaves Analysis

    A synchronization with an internal agenda (Meetings of the CRM module) is also possible in order to automatically create a meeting when a holiday request is accepted by setting up a type of meeting in Leave Type.

  • Lunch Orders

    The base module to manage lunch.

    Many companies order sandwiches, pizzas and other, from usual suppliers, for their employees to offer them more facilities.

    However lunches management within the company requires proper administration especially when the number of employees or suppliers is important.

    The “Lunch Order” module has been developed to make this management easier but also to offer employees more tools and usability.

    In addition to a full meal and supplier management, this module offers the possibility to display warning and provides quick order selection based on employee’s preferences.

    If you want to save your employees' time and avoid them to always have coins in their pockets, this module is essential.

  • Managing Human Resources

    For Odoo ERPOnline, “employee” represents all of the physical people who have a work contract with the company. This includes all types of contracts: contracts with both fixed and indeterminate time periods, and also independent and freelance service contracts.

    This application supplies a new screen enabling you to manage both attendances (Sign in/Sign out) and your work encoding (timesheet) by period. Timesheet entries are made by employees each day. At the end of the defined period, employees validate their sheet and the manager must then approve his team's entries. Periods are defined in the company forms and you can set them to run monthly or weekly.

    The complete timesheet validation process is:

    • Draft sheet
    • Confirmation at the end of the period by the employee
    • Validation by the project manager

    The validation can be configured in the company:

    • Period size (Day, Week, Month)
    • Maximal difference between timesheet and attendances
